Ted Cruz is really the only Republican candidate/potential candidate who has remained steadfast in his opposition to Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.
Paul, Rubio, Walker, Bush, etc., are all for Amnesty for illegal aliens.
Paul, Walker, and Rubio have shape-shifted on the issue, but they are all in favor of the proverbial Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
The last Republican nominee for POTUS that remained steadfast in his far right wing beliefs was destroyed in the general. That would be Barry Goldwater.
