2013 Scholarship Distribution Chart

I have updated the scholarship distribution chart for 2013. According to my count, we currently have 81 players projected to be on scholarship next year if there are no defections (includes the 20 signees for '13 class). That number should significantly decrease before August 2013. The following players are candidates to be elsewhere next year (there could be others):

SR - Bray (NFL)
SR - Hunter (NFL)
SR - Patterson (NFL)
SR - Ayres (graduated)
SR - King (graduated)
SR - Sentimore (NFL)
JR - Pair (transfer)
JR - Darr (transfer/track)
JR - Clark (transfer)
JR - Smith (transfer)
JR - Carson (transfer)
SO - Watson (transfer)
SO - Phillips (transfer)
SO - Bonner (transfer)
FR - Hill (transfer)
FR - Taylor (transfer)

I think Bonner will be here in the fall - as well as Philips if he can maintain the academic side. If not, JC bound.

If all of this proves true...we will have 56 players on scholarship and will have 29 scholarships to give.

With the new class restrictions in the SEC...how many can we truly give?

Why would Sentimore transfer? NFL I understand, but must have missed why he would consider a transfer.

Wouldn't think 5th yr seniors Ayers and King would transfer with a new coach and scheme to fit their skills better?

They have probably both graduated and may decide to give up football or may be told they no longer have a scholarship available.

I can't view your chart on mobile, but I count 69 returning schollies by the roster that I have. When I have access to my laptop I'll check to see if I've missed anybody.

Ok this is good news. Thanks for the info. James and Mccullers are two huge pieces coming back.. I don't care what scheme we run, those two are monsters.

I respect your opinion but I don't think our program is in any shape to tell 5th yr Seniors to take a walk...jmo

Why would Taylor transfer?
