2013 NBA Draft thread

I'd rather have Harris than Nicholson, but I'd rather have Harris play 3 than 4. He gets killed on the glass. He's a decent rebounder for a 3, but totally inadequate as a 4.

Harris is nowhere near athletic enough to guard opposing 3s and isn't a very good shooter either. Nothing about his game suggests that he's a wing.

? More than 1/5 of his shots come from 3pt. He might not be athletic enough to guard the more athletic 3s, but he's nowhere near strong enough to guard the stronger 4s.

6' 8" 225 just won't cut it at PF unless you are jumping out of the roof, IMO.

Yeah, and he shot 30%. Strength is a much easier thing to fix than quickness.

True, though wily guys like Battier can defend at the 3 without being quick. He needs to figure something out because he's stuck in between at this point.

Many more athletic wings than there are bruisers down low.

Faried?

If we're talking about stopping ball, then yeah I agree, but I'm worried about rebounding more than anything. I think most PFs will push him around in the paint whether they would be considered bruisers or not.

The NBA is becoming a league more and more void of positions as it pertains to what we traditionally think of them.

Nobody would ask Tobias to be Charles Oakley.

He did average about 9 rebounds a game after being traded to Orlando.
