No team has made it to the finals 4 years in row since the 80s. History is not on their side, but I don't know who I'd pick over them. I don't think anybody made enough improvements to think they would be better than the Heat, except maybe Houston. Spurs are a year older, Pacers didn't get better other than PG and LS's gains in experience, Bulls maybe...

Wade's health might be the Heats undoing, of course we've been saying that for 3 years. Kinda like, the Spurs are old they are actually pretty young aside from the big 3, I love Leonard's game. If PG improves Indy will have a shot, Watson is a big upgrade over Augustine, and LS helps shore up the frontcourt. Losing TH hurts, even though I'm in the minority in thinking that, they should have traded DG. IMO

Bulls are the only threat in a playoff for the Heat. I don't see any other East teams that could take them more than 4 or 5 games.

More than 4 or 5? Indy for sure could they pushed them last year and improved IMO Brooklyn could if they stay healthy. One thing we might see this year is Miami be pushed the whole playoffs. Drawing Cleveland or Detroit first round wouldn't be as easy as past first Rounders. Then possibly Nets Bulls or Pacers in round 2, and one of those 3 in the ECF. One luxury they've had is the west kills each other while they have an easy path. The East isn't as good as the West but its getting stronger in the 5-8 seeds. IMO

I readily admit I forgot about the Nets. I am interested to see how the old guys are by the end of the year. Gonna have to hold Pierce and Garnett back at times to keep them fresh.

Pacers still got work to do. Yeah, they took them to 7. But when it mattered the Heat showed up and crushed the Pacers. If the Heat play like that it's over for every team. And if Oden and Beasley can contribute it'll help a lot.

Nets just don't rebound well enough. If they play Evans a bunch, they can do pretty well on the glass, but they only played him 24 MPG last year, and so far only 11 MPG this year.

They've got scoring all over the floor and decent defense, so they match up well with a team like the Heat, but they will get murdered by teams that rebound well, like the Bulls and the Pacers.

If you were building a team, would you start with Evans or Korver? :)

Well you said 4 or 5 games. Lol The Pacers have improved IMO, I'm not sure Miami has. Oden and Beasley would be huge, but one is a head case and the other one was born questionable.
