This season is going to be one to remember, so you negavols better prepare for glory. If McCullers and Sentimore can make the immediate impact that I think they can---they will be the anchors of an amazing defense. Our defense is going to be stout, and I really like the position we're in right now.

Offense---we have so much potential it's not even funny. I'm very confident the offensive line will be ready to dominate considering all the experience they have, and having those big hogs going into their junior year. Our Running game is going to be completely different, and our passing game could be the best ever. The pieces are there for Shock and Awe. It's going to be awesome to see. Get ready.

Not sure how you could justify these statements.

It probably will be. I hope it's for the reasons you think.

An amazing defense.

Dominant O-Line on the ground and in pass pro.

BEST EVER pass game. (How long have you been watching UT football?)

It's funny to read this every off-season. Jesus. The best wins this current administration have are against Ole Miss, Vandy, and Cincy...and some of you have us winning the National Championship and being the best UT team of all time. Insanity runs deep during the off-season with the Dool-Aid drinkers.

I like that even though the last time we saw this team they QUIT, they are now winning the National Championship, and being the greatest offensive team in UT history.

We will know more after the Vols are half way through the 2012 season. We will know everything about them after the entire 2012 season is over. Until then, it's just banter and supposition.

People like you are going to have a lot of apologizing to do to Coach Derek Dooley after this year. That's all I'm saying....

I'll apologize to Dooley if he rolls out an "amazing" defense and the BEST OFFENSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE.

Don't sit on your orange tinted glasses, I'm just quoting the crap you wrote.

Better go ahead and lock up your National Championship tickets now.

...and by the way, why am I listening to a 17 year old kid who is a UT/South Carolina fan? What the hell is that?

We'll know after the Florida game.

NC State and UF are must wins. Either of those drop to L's, might as well send the house specs to ReMax.

When was the last time we had 20 starters returning with this kind of firepower on Offense??!?!? I'm sorry, but we've NEVER had 3 WRs like Hunter, Rogers, and Patterson---all playing in the same set. A healthy Neal, Lane, and Bourque/Watson will be big time contributors running the ball. It's called a prediction, and maybe I could act like you and wallow around and ***** and moan about how terrible we're going to be---but that's not going with what I think this team is going to do.

I see us getting 10 wins at a MINIMUM this year.

The right coach could do it. That's for sure.

10 wins minimum? Wow.

Why is it when I say we won't have THE GREATEST OFFENSE IN THE HISTORY OF UT FOOTBALL, I'm wallowing? That's a bold prediction, but then again you're probably about 17 years old so you have no idea.

If your parents haven't cut your AOL hours by the end of the season, I'd love to hear what you say when we don't roll out the greatest offense ever seen in Knoxville, or 10 wins MINIMUM.

Unlike you, I actually have a degree from the University of Tennessee. I also got a degree from the University of South Carolina. As I've said before, my fanhood of South Carolina doesn't impact my fanhood for Tennessee whatsoever. I'll wear garnett and black whenever, as long as it's not the week of the Tennessee game.

I'll make a bet with you right now---if Tennessee gets less than 10 wins, I'll make an avatar admitting that I'm an idiot.

If we do---you need to make an avatar yourself personally apologizing to Coach Dooley for being a Disloyal fan.

10 wins might be a stretch but we'll be good. Not sure what team domestic was watching last year but I was watching a very young, talented team riddled with significant injuries. This year I expect to be watching an older, more talented and healthier team. I expect to see big things. The Kentucky game ended a few months ago. Not sure why people choose to keep reliving it.

He's disloyal if he doesn't expect Dooley to get 10 wins next season? You do realize that Dooley only has 11 wins in two seasons, right?

It's posts like the OP that we have such meltdowns around here when we lose a game. It isn't bing a negavol to have realistic expectations.

9 wins or more next year would be just short of a miracle. The bar should be set around 7-5, 8-4 territory. Anything less than that and heads will roll and we start over again. I know it isn't what UT football was 15 years ago, but it is what it is right now.

He's disloyal because he doesn't support the program. I've seen his other posts as well. He's a pretty big nevavol.

And what's your excuse for having Titans and Alabama flair?

K. But I wanted to have proof when it actually happens. The last few seasons, we knew damn well what was going to happen. We simply didn't have the talent. We had THREE coaches in as many years....it just won't allow your team to have ANY kind of success with that type of turnover.

But I'm feeling very optimistic about this year.
