Heres another early name for the Class of 2011 that has been coming up in conversations with different people is running back Marquis Sumler (Pensacola, Fla./Pensacola Catholic). The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder rushed for more than 1,300 yards last season and had a good showing at the Mobile Nike Combine a couple of weeks ago, posting a 4.0 second pro shuttle time.

My wife teaches this kid at Catholic High in P'cola, so I have had the chance to meet this kid in person and watch him play as well. This kid is a burner, who reminds me of Cadillac Williams...never stops pumping his legs when he hits the hole.

Actually, he is doing quite well. Right now he has a 3.0 GPA. Coach is always talking to her and making sure she stays on top of things with him about keeping his grades up, cause he knows that this kid is going to be highly recruited.

He's was only a sophomore this past year and put up those numbers. Give this kid 2 more years to grow some muscle and weight along with keeping his nose clean, and he will be one heck of a prospect.
