1. Florida Gators
There really isn't any question about it. Tim Tebow has already proven he's among the best QBs of this decade, and his senior year appears to maybe be his best year yet. Not to mention he's also got great talent all around him and an excellent defense as well.

2. Texas Longhorns
The connection of superstar quarterback Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley could be deadly...and might bring home a national championship ring as well.

3. Oklahoma Sooners
Likely to at least have one loss and possibly two, but this is still a great team. Bradford will have to make do with a downgraded offense, but the defense is still very solid.

I think that the 2010 preseason rankings will be heavily dependent on how we finish in '09...

Let's focus on this season. ;)

no it's just....2010 rankings are 2 seasons away. Why are we looking at that? Now if you meant 2009 which is this season and had just mistyped it or something...

OK guys to clear up the confusion. This is the 2009-2010 rankings for this year. We play in 2009 but crown the national Champion in 2010.

The new EA college football game for this year even says 2010

right, so that makes these the rankings for the 2009 season.

EA always gives madden and NCAA a year ahead of what season it actually is. Their games are not really the best reference point for anything anymore :birgits_giggle:

Pretty much what i expected after going 5-7 last year. I think after we beat WKU & UCLA we will be ranked around 23rd going into the Florida game.

we'd need more than that since we're so far down on each poll and each of those teams above us most likely won't lose their first two games.

Only way it could happen would be if we absolutely obliterate WKU and UCLA (by a ridiculous amount; like one of those score 45-60 points games). Most likely though the best way we can get ranked early is we have to beat both teams and then beat Florida, which would most likely jump an unranked team to the 20s at worst and the 13-14 spot at best
