Georgia State in Atlanta is just starting a football program. There first season will be this year or 2010. On FOX news tonight they announce Alabama has them scheduled fo the 2010 season. Talking about a major mis-match.

If Georgia State is anything like ULL or ULM Alabama will lose lol:eek:lol:...Don't see it happening though

Well they scheduled UTC, so I guess they're the fat kid, eating up those cupcakes.

My thoughts exactly. If anything, I'd say this is a pretty good get for Georgia State this early on. It'll probably be a pretty decent pay-out for them, and I'm sure that as a new program, they're not expecting to win a ton of games in their first couple of seasons anyway. So if you're gonna lose, might as well get paid handsomely (in a legal way) for your trouble.

A few years back, that cluster of hippies in austin proper played Sam Houston State. t.u. won by like 70 or so. The result? There is a shiney new Baseball and Softball complex in Huntsville Texas today. Compensation plain and simple.
