Mark May is basically a shock jock. He says crazy stuff because people talk about it, and that's why ESPN keeps paying him.

ESPN honestly isn't even that credible anyways. 90% of the time the people have no clue what they're talking about.

A guy whos entire job is to watch players and project them to the NFL says that Rico is the 9th best LB available. Anyone with a shred of common sense would trust him over you.

I'm not asking anyone to trust me. I'm giving my opinion on a player.

Mel Kiper is also paid to evaluate talent and is wrong plenty.

It really doesn't matter if the person is paid or not, I don't agree with everything a paid person says.

And that's another ESPN guy. The only good ESPN NCCAF guys I can think of are Kirk and Palmer though. But someone for rivals, who is one of the most respected sites, especially in terms of player evaluation, is probably a little more accurate than a poster on some random message board. Have you broken down film from all 10 of the Linebackers he named entire careers?

Thus the reason we have a board based on opinions, also, Arian Foster was a second round choice based on these same people's "evaluation". Does anyone want to debate the validity of those evaluations.

Again I don't care where the person works, my opinion differs and that's not going to change.

No, but I've watched enough UT games to know if Rico is the 9th best linebacker it is a very weak class.

Foster actually got a 2nd round projection from NFL Scouts and GM's.

And after the way he had played for the 3 years before that, could you say he hadn't? Its obvious that the new system, lack of QB play, progression of other RB's, and mediocre OL play, as well as injuries, have been his downfall this year.

The only knock on him was that he wasn't a speedster, but he's still got good hands, and is probably one of the best pass blocking RB's in the country.
