Having watched Alabama since the UGA win, and UF since the Mississippi loss...

Forget the BCS rankings. The college football version of "American Idol" voting.

I think UF tears Bama a new one in Atlanta, and then smokes (whoever is unlucky enough to show up) in Miami.

Opposing opinions invited.

Go Vols.

Yeah, UF will beat the brakes off of Bama. UF is way too powerful right now. They can beat any team in the nation

Having been smoked by both teams, I agree. UF is far, far better.

The Gators are HOT, The bammers will be ready to go home by half time unless Saban can again surprise in the Championship game. Of course few of us want to remember 2001.

FYI, being a Southeast Georgia resident since 1993, I have three favorite teams: UT, UGA, and whoever is playing UF.

Having been a close watcher of UGA football for the past 15 years, I thought UGA finished 2007 as the hottest team in the nation. Not the best, mind you, but definitely the hottest. I also thought the pre-season #1 ranking was a curse.

UGA gave that game to Bama. Had UGA been there for the first half, it would have been a different result. Simple as that. UF, on the other hand, was an ass-whipping. Again, simple as that.

Thus, my logic for the SECCG. Bama is gonna get folded, spindled, and mutilated. Once again, simple as that.

Same for the NC game. IMO, any team that might hang with UF (Texas, TTU, OU, USC) will have to match UF's speed, and intensity, on both sides of the ball. And none of those teams can do it.

SEC three-peat. End of discussion about the "best conference in college football". Corso and Herbstreit choke on their words.

JMO.

Go Vols.

Saban isn't coaching against Fulmer. There won't be a repeat of 2001.

Pray for USC versus Gators. USC D versus UF O. That be a nasty match-up

Again, the USC "D" (or any "D", for that matter), doesn't have the speed to match up against all of the UF weapons.

And UF's "D" can go head-to-head with any offense in the nation.

Mail the crystal football to Gainesville. It's a done deal. At least Ohio State won't have to serve as the designated opponent for the National Champion for the third straight year.

(and doesn't the whole "Brutus Buckeye" thing make you wonder if the Village People are all OSU grads?)

Go Vols

I've seen the mascot. Phallic symbol. "Brutus Buckeye". That has the tone of a prison nickname.

And "dotting the I". Big deal in Columbus. They audition for it.

Weird. Phallic. "Brutus Buckeye".

Ohio.

Not for me.

Go Vols.

huh? From where I was sitting, Bama handed it to Joja, not the other way around. That was an :shaking2: beating. Handsome Fulmer is very similar to Knoxville PhiLLLL. jmo.

You can't punctuate, capitalize correctly, spell, or post without inserting an icon.

There's no way you could understand "Had Georgia been there..."

The "Ignoreland Train" is leaving, and you're on it.

Go Vols.

I'm originally from SW GA (Tifton). I now live in Atlanta. I couldn't agree with you more. The top five teams in the country are: 1) UF 2) Texas 3) Bama 4) Oklamoma 5) USC 6)UGA.

Now I'm not saying that UGA is a great SEC team. But they played two horrible halves against UF and Bama (my #1 & #3) and are otherwise undefeated. UGA is much better than Texas Tech, Utah, Boise St., Missouri, etc. If any of the above-mentioned teams were in the SEC they would have 3 losses. Vandy could beat any of these teams.

It should be fun to watch a punt-return fest between Javier Arenas and Brandon James. One of them is going to take one to the house in that game.
