Mendenhall may leave, in reference to a post way earlier in the thread

1) USC (mcknight is insane. no arguments. he's a freak. and Turner, Hazelton, R. Johnson will only get better.)
2) Oklahoma (Bradford and that frosh tailback)
3) Florida (nowhere to go but up to be honest)
4) Georgia (throw AJ Green and a top 5 recruiting class in the mix)
5) tOSU (dunno who will beat them? michigan will be adjusting to a new system)
6) Mizzou (Maclin and Daniel)
7) Kansas (love reesing, but haven't noticed if their schedule gets harder?)
8) LSU (could even be higher.. perriloux's good, tolliver's good, and they always are.
9) Texas?? not even sure at this point. they are always solid.
10) Tennessee Vols (I don't think this will happen, but we will be much improved?

Just missed--> Va tech (taylor's solid), Clemson, West Virgina (Here, new coach, have all this offensive firepower).

huh?

West Virginia looses their coach and will be changing from a spread offense to a more traditional SEC offense under Tommy Bowden??????

Why tOSU so low?

Bowden hasn't been hired. Butch Jones is the leading candidate (he used to work for Rich Rod).

White returns. Slaton might return, but if not, they'll use Devine. They lose Reynaud (who cares) and their good FB.

They'll be up there.

As for tOSU, people will overrate the loss of JR Laurenitis if he leaves. Boeckman, as average as he was, will be gone, too.

They are crushing Illinois-#13 in the country and complete underdog by 18 points

Their recruiting class is average compared to what they did last year,half of their recruiting class are Offensive Linemen.

They're Top 10 but definetly not Top 5

and after that loss to Michigan.

Update:
1.Oklahoma
2.Ohio State
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Florida

I would say USC beat Illinois pretty bad, 49-17 wasn't it? And if anybody thinks there is a better team in the nation than them I would like to hear who it would be and why because I don't believe you'll find a better one than them right now

thats a great list.. may be higher or lower than that.. it all depends..
South Carolina will be a top 20 team prolly..
And Alabama will be top 15 most likely. them and Tennessee..
VT needs to be in the top ten.. their by far the best ACC team..

and isnt it weird that Miami nor Florida State is even mentioned as a top twenty team.. WOW!

Weird in a warm, pleasing, almost as good as sex way.

When Kansas "Shocks" Virginia Tech you can retract your statement

BYU will compete for a NC for these reasons:
1.They'll start the season higher than Boise State & Hawaii did
2.They'll start higher because A-They return all starters on offense and defense B-BYU is more prestigious nationally than Boise State & Hawaii,Boise State was ranked so low to compete because they lost their starting QB,and countless other key contributors on offense and defense from last season.MWC>WAC among team talent/prestige anyways.
3.BYU's schedule(not in order):
@ Washington
UCLA
Nevada
@USU
SDSU
WYO
UNM
UNLV
@TCU
@CSU
@AirForce
@Utah

They lost to a healthy UCLA at the start of the season,then beat a healthy UCLA at the end of the season.
Washington should be easy since they arent particularly good.

BYU beat every single team in their conference last season,and their only real tests will be @ Utah and @ TCU

As I've said before,not many people are sipping the holy water of BYU but I am.
BYU is most likely going to be ranked at #14 or #15 in the preseason rankings next year.

1. Thats not saying much, I don't remember exactly where Hawai'i was ranked at the start of the year but I don't believe it was top 20.

2. I'm willing to bet people consider Boise's current national perception in better shape than BYU's. For example, BYU is rarely on tv here in GA and you hardly hear about them. I still hear about Boise St. and the media reminds people all the time about what they did to OU. And if the Mountain West is a better conference, it's not by much.

3. Hawaii's schedule is what kept them from playing for it all this year and it will be one of the reasons that will keep BYU from playing for it next year even if they do go undefeated. The fact that the Mountain West isn't even a BCS conference doesn't help

Not many people are sipping the BYU holy water for a lot of good reasons

If they don't open the season with a loss at Washington, I'm pretty sure that 4-game road stretch will result in atleast one loss for "prestigious" BYU.

Why tOSU so low?

So now Tommy Bowden is leaving the ACC to take an SEC offense to the Big East?

Remind me again why I should take your college football analysis seriously.

what do you want them to recruit? another 15 RBs? And you do realize that recruiting isn't over yet? USC will be preseason top 5, hell I would almost bet top 3. Lastly, there is no way in hell OSU will be better than USC next year

Air Force is not a test? Air Force is always a test. BYU simply won't play for the NC next year, nor will they deserve to
