Two bad calls probably derailed Tennessee's chance for a national championship.

The roughing the passer call against Florida, and the missed LSU fumble both lost the game for Tennessee. Even with the bad loss against Arkansas, Tennessee still wins the east. With a healthy Eric Ainge, they win the SEC, and probably plays Ohio State in the BCS title game. I would have liked Tennessee's chances for sure.

I’ve said on here many times that the 2006 team was national title good. A few calls here and and Ainge stays healthy we go far.

Can't agree with you on the FL game as that call happened in the first half and only would have put us up 17-7. Which we were up by anyway in the second half. Still a 50-50 outcome probability even if they allow that score. Everything after that changes.

Pretty sure we would’ve been up 24-7. It would’ve been ballgame. Either way it was a ******** call. Mapu touched his pinky finger on Leak.

The 2006 team should have lost to Air Force. With that said, the UF game featured the biggest blown call this side of Jabar Gaffney....

That 2006 team had everything. The refs per usual decided to bail Urban Meyer out
Were they bailing Meyer out when they called back a Brandon James punt return for a touchdown on a bogus block in the back? That actually directly preceded the Marvin Mitchell pick six, so both teams got screwed.
