Great piece , love the enthusiasm. If I was made to pick us at 10 -2 , I would swap the Georgia and LSU games he picked and roll with it . Thank the lord I’m not being made to pick . 😂

I love all of this prediction stuff, 10-2, with the worst of injuries we could be 2-10. No one knows what this team will be so lets just "Come Early, Be Loud, and never let an opponent leave without knowing they have been in a fight"

No sir.

I will bet you one million dollars, right this minute, that we will not go 2-10. I seriously will.

The other half is, you have to pay me one million dollars if we go 10-2.

You want to take the bet?

Of course not. Because the odds are far, far, far in my favor (as in comparing a 5% chance to a 0.00001% chance). You'd be a fool to take that bet.

And that's why "no one knows what this team will be" is an incomplete truth. Because we do know some things. We know with near-certainty that we will win at least 5 games. We know with somewhat less certainty but still very strong odds that we will not go 12-0. Everything in between, 6-6 to 11-1, is in the realm of possibility. Small odds at the outside edges, yes, but possibility.

So don't try comparing 10-2 to 2-10. We're not there. And honestly, even in our very worst years, we never have been.

Go Vols!

I just want us to be the best version of us we can be, and the officials to not screw us at every opportunity, and then, let the chips fall where they may.
I got a good feeling that when we get it turned around, suddenly the refs will give us the benefit of the doubt
