very pleased with the speed we are recruiting. I would like to admit thought that we did get a guy from OH, whom was not really recruited by OSU, since they have 5-6 DBs already in this years class.

No let us wrap up some DL talent, and close this year early and get started on '10 class

Yea I guess we are stuck with OSU's leftover 4* recruits...but I'll take em! I am with ya on the DLs.

Hunter suprised me, but I kind of thought Foster would jump in before someone else took his spot.

Why was no one recruiting him?

He had offers from every school in the Big 10.

and besides them he had weak SEC teams and Kent State. I am in no way questioning his talent or stars. I was just wondering why others big times were not really in the hunt. He sort of reminds me of Marsalous Johnson

I'm sure a lot of schools thought it'd be difficult to pull him away from Big 10 country...some schools may not have liked him, and others may have been close to extending an offer.

Either way, the kid has offers from Ohio St. and Michigan...it doesn't get much bigger than that.

Not many SEC schools hit Big 10 country in recruiting like UT does. Florida and UGA do hit Maryland etc pretty hard but you rarely see them going into the Big 10 area and pulling anyone out so his lack of listed offers doesnt mean a damn thing.

Some people will try to find a negative spin on any and everything. :banghead2:

Illinois was listed at some point too. Zook flopped @ UF but has recruited very well since and took the Illini to the Rose Bowl. Recruiting wasn't his problem at UF as witnessed by their NC year.

I never questioned his ability or list. I was just wondering why he didn't have a couple more big times

I can't find anything anywhere that Hunter has already committed. I don't doubt it, I just hope its true.
