(2) Heat vs. (3) Pacers

Do people really expect them to beat San Anton or OKC? I sure don't. Wouldn't be a choke job, IMO. It would be losing to a better team.

I disagree. The Heat would be the best team with Bosh. Without him, pretty much on par with San Antonio and OKC, maybe slightly above OKC.

The Heat are the team to beat.

As good as D Wade and Lebron are, I'll take a team with 4 all-star caliber players + Sefolosha and Perkins (both better than anybody outside the big 3 for Miami), or the Spurs who are one of the most complete teams I've ever seen.

This is why the Spurs are so damn dangerous. These are all their players with significant time who scored at above average efficiency....

Manu Ginobili - 0.668 TS%, 12.9 PPG
Tiago Splitter - 0.649 TS%, 9.3 PPG
Matt Bonner - 0.597 TS%, 6.6 PPG
Danny Green - 0.579 TS%, 9.1 PPG
Kawhi Leonard - 0.573 TS%, 7.9 PPG
Richard Jefferson - 0.556 TS%, 9.2 PPG
DeJuan Blair - 0.549 TS%, 9.5 PPG
Gary Neal - 0.542 TS%, 9.9 PPG
Tony Parker - 0.539 TS%, 18.2 PPG

Have some of you stop watching basketball the last 2 months? Without Bosh, you think the Heat are on par with SA and OKC? Based on what exactly? They have zero depth compared to both OKC and the Spurs. They have zero inside game. If you honestly think that Lebron and Wade will be able to do what they did against the athletic OKC bigs or vs. a Popovich team then you are crazy.

With Bosh, they can give OKC a great series. With Bosh, they won't beat the Spurs in a series. The Heat are hoping that the Sixers somehow find a way to beat Boston tonight after what Boston exposed of them in the regular season. And this is coming from someone who thinks Lebron is head and shoulders the best player in the game and gets a lot of unfair criticism.

The Celtics could present a few problems for the Heat. I know basing a prediction off of last years results is sort of a useless way to look at things but the Heat are better now than last year, the Celtics aren't and that series only lasted five games.

The Heat can beat OKC and the Spurs but it will take everything they have both of those teams are well coached and have more bigs and depth than the Heat.

I would put San Antonio as the favorite, slightly above OKC, then the Heat.

I'm just not seeing it the way you are, boss.

I'm a Lebron appreciator. Not hating. It's just the way I see it.

The only way the Heat can win it all is if Lebron and D Wade can play at this unsustainable level for 4 games in the finals, with Bosh making substantial contributions.

It hasn't been unsustainable for 3 games but I agree. I think the Heat can take either of them 7 games and win. With the way Lebron and Wade have been playing, once Bosh comes back they will be playing at a higher level because they won't have as much pressure on them if that makes sense? Jmo
