Yeah I know its early but I'm so excited about this team.

Here's my top 3 most impressive players in camp so far:

1. DE Jonathan Kongbo - no surprise here....dude is a freak show....he carries 282 lbs likes its nothing....his build reminds me of Jason Pierre Paul....his movements look so explosive you can see them in drills....I won't be surprised if he's one and done....future 1st round pick

2. DT Kahlil McKenzie - incredible how much he's changed his body....looks so explosive in drills....still has those mammoth legs....I'll be shocked if he isn't one of the most dominant defensive lineman in the SEC this year....should finally live up to that recruiting hype

3. WR Brandon Johnson - no wonder he got so much hype in the summer....he's so smooth and polished for a freshmen WR....also has good size, great hands, and good explosiveness....won't be surprised if he's pushing Josh Malone for playing time....should be in the 2-deep as early as the App State game

Paul Bain.

But seriously, since he is the butt of jokes on here, I hope he is a diamond in the rough and balls out and gets in the rotation. Good luck young man.

Hard to tell from limited videos, but Baylen Buchanan looks more shifty and athletic than I expected..

This for me as well. A player cannot impress me until the pads go on and the staff produces their version of "putting on the hits!!" Football has seen many players arrive to the field who look like Tarzan and are tough like Jane. Until the pads pop, I will not be impressed, other than by the GREAT job Fingers does for VN.

Since none have actually done anything but run in these 2 days I'll go with Kahlil. The guy has put in serious work in the off season

Looks broader than he was last year. Hell all the D line look broader for that matter.

Kmac looks great

Kongbo and Warrior look like NFL prospects

The receivers have made some good catches, and apparently we should be really high on JG already.

Aside from the players, I just love the way our jerseys look with Nike. They have the perfect pop to them. I know we've already had a year to admire them, but I'm so used to the faded look of the Adidas practice jerseys with the three white stripes on the shoulder. I love our new jerseys

I like the question but with the very limited exposure that the press has to the actual practices, I don't know how you will know much with talking with the coordinators and position coaches.

The jerseys are popping before the pads are on? Isn't that a bit risky? :)

With me not seeing them play yet I would say the S&C program has impressed me the most. The team has continued to transform into looking like an upper tier SEC team.

Kmac has completely changed his body type, TKjr is cut up now, even AK is ripped up and not small by no means.

I'm ready to see them playing some football.

Agreed. The defensive line in particular looks very impressive.

Our vet DBs look stronger as well.
