The first play of the game told me we had made almost no substantial progress since we walked off the field last November. How you can't focus on the very first play of the game and let the nose tackle blow right by you is a mystery to me.

It was funny all week with the posts on what the first play was gonna be...I wanted to say throw it long, but didn't b/c I KNEW we would throw it long a few times during the game. WELL, WE NEVER DID.

I didn't reply to that post b/c somehow I just knew the 1st play would be f'd up. IT WAS.

WE SHOULDA THROWN A BOMB TO START THE DAMNED GAME!

This program has just plain been cursed, and I can only pray at some point that voodoo lifts.

I think we have the right coach, but it's gonna be one helluva long season.

I wanted us to defer when we win the toss.
I understand that we expected the strength of their team to be their offense.
But, I was worried about putting some of our oline men out there right away.
Didn’t affect outcome.
They just have mo better players than us.

We need to hope that WV is a good team that was a mismatch for us. Great WR vs our inexperienced DBs.

I'm fairly certain his arm was moving forward; however, the "pass" traveled backward and was a live ball.
