First Madden NFL 10 Screenshot | Virtual Sports Network

What do you think? I love the realistic player models, in years past the QB's are the same size as LB's and their arms look like hocks of ham. The player sizes look more realistic. Also notice the refs, chain gang, stuff on sidelines, I am not sure of EVERY new feature there is but Peter Moore & EA said 6 can be seen in the screenshot.

I'm still never buying Madden again - well.... atleast for another 5+ years... I don't care if it has better game play - just isn't near as fun to me. ODs are awesome - and if they have the same feature for Madden then ODs would still be better because recruiting > NFL draft.

Well that's how bad it sucked then compared to ODs. I never tried or heard anyone talking about it and how fun it was.

Even without ODs I'd still never play Madden over NCAA. People say the game play is "better". But I cannot stand the running game in Madden as well as a few other ticky tack things.

i know. i was being sarcastic. i tried to get one going at one point last year and it was a disaster. not fun at all....

As an actual game it's better but there is something (recruiting) that is more fun about CFB.

madden's gameplay was much smoother than ncaa last year and much more balanced. ncaa 09 is a good game, but madden has several things in it that seem to be lightyears ahead of ncaa. the passing attack isn't insanely easy, games are usually not riddled with turnovers, and player movements aren't stiff like they are sometimes in ncaa.

that being said, i still like ncaa better. but the gameplay still needs alot of work.

The passing is bad, yes. But I hate the running game in Madden - and don't like it NCAA either but it's better atleast imo.

And I don't see turnovers being that big of a deal. If it is supposed to be realistic then I expect someone to pick off a pass when I throw off my back foot into double coverage when pressured or if I loft it up high off a short out route or something. When I make smart and realistic plays I don't throw INTs hardly ever. But when you try to throw 30 yard passes every play then you should get picked. The part I don't like about INTs in either game is how someone can have their back to you and they apparently have eyes in the back of the helmets (and eye holes in the helmets) and can instantly turn around and pick the ball off.

Fumbles - I don't see too many of them so no real problem there.

It's not really the game's fault but I hate playing people online and they pick Florida 9 times out of 10 and run 15 yards backwards and/or to the left or right and let Harvin out run your team and launch it.

Does anyone get sacked a lot when you play Florida by Dunlap #8? I have to put a TE on him and sometimes that still doesn't work.

Harry sucks. Make him forfeit Florida and play on a real team then he can talk trash.

I want to see him win with Vandy.

Yeah, guess I'm in the group that cares about the engine instead of the paint job.

It's nice to have the best of both worlds, but I'd rather drive the thing around than have it sit in my driveway looking pretty.

But it makes you wonder doesn't it - why would I bring it this up in a completely different thread, days before you tried to call me out on the jonsey issue, if I was apparently "BSing" that stuff all along? And when I don't know you or haven't played you? Just going by what I was told - hey maybe they're the sore loser, I have no idea honestly.

Havent we already been over this Harry???? WTF is your problem???? You are the only person that would say this and I lost plenty of times. Because I didnt stay online after our game and stroke your ego by telling you how great you are, that is being a sore loser. You are a tool and your ego is pretty disgusting. Why would someone who is using one of the best teams in the game have anything to brag about?

If he kills me with Florida and I'm Arky, big deal. Now if he dominates with an average team that's a different story.

No, you are the seven year old kid who's daddy let's him win and when you lose or get close to losing you whine. It's called sportsmanship. I have no ego it's an effing video game. I just like to see sportsmanship with fellow Vols, but I guess it's too much to ask out of some people.
