All this week on ESPN Classic they're showing abunch of college football games.

Not sure of what games they're gonna show, except I do know they're showing, Tenn-FSU 99 Fiesta Bowl, and the Miami - tOSU 03 Fiesta Bowl.

I wish there would be a replay of the '98 Arkansas game on sometime.....most exciting UT game ever - and I accidentally taped the '04 Georgia game over it.....I have every other '98game on tape except that one - which was the best.

The "Hand of God" game gets my vote for the best UT game that I have ever seen. I found my old beat up tape of it a couple of months ago. Tape quality is terrible, I cut the commercials out and made it really choppy, plus CBS breaks in to announce that we were bombing Iraq (I think, I cut most of that out too), but I was glued to the tv like I had never seen it before. That game was so intense, I ended up calling my dad a "fair-weather fan."

Just watched the 99 feista bowl.Brings back some good memory's.You know when we could line up and pound teams.Tee did alot with his legs that year.I've always thought we have been at our best with a mobile qb.The one exception being peyton. But manning was quicker than you think and he could avoid big hits.

I must say that the announcers sucked big time in that game. While the clock is ticking away on Florida State all they talk about is how Keith Jackson is retiring. Hasen't he retired almost every year since then? Dont get me wrong great guy loved the way he called sometimes. But give a team its due UT won the National Title for the first time in 47 years. Ok my vent is over.
I need to get a copy of the game that has the master Jon Ward calling the shots i guess.

We did!

I got a little nervous when we fumbled with about 1:30 left but we picked off a pass. Whew
:rock2:

UT should add another national championship to their total every time that game is shown on TV, ala Alabama.

I forgot all about Mark Richt being the OC for FSU then. At least we can say we beat him for a NC.

The game was chopped up all over the place, unlike many of the other rebroadcasts going on now.

Also some stats they were talking about during the game:

Florida State Dynasty (1987-1998)
11 straight years with 10+ win season
10 straight years with AP top 4 finish
9-1 bowl record

Wow. Has a feat like this even come close to being duplicated? Talk about utter dominance.
