Im sick of 1998 on the Jumbo tron

Whats the point of showing plays of UT beating Bama 10 fricking years when we are getting man handled on the field of today like a high School team by Bama !

They had their big gala thing at the TN Theater...leave it THERE!

And show it to recruits, not when we are getting our a$$ handed to us by that same team!

The point of it was to honor a team that accomplished something that happens every 50 or so years here.

There was actually a vols fan in his early 20s trying to start a chant of "Ninety-Eight" to counter some bammers stupidity while waiting to get in to gate 21. I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing.

That's fine but I agree with the original poster, do it at a theater or auditorium, not at the stadium where we can get our asses handed to us.

It was a great season and the players deserve to be honored. It was our National Championship year and by now we should know how hard that is to achieve. Nothing wrong with celebrating our past. Get over yourself.

I think Fulmer missed the memo from the marketing team. His performance this year sure won't help sales.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. You don't let a current bad product get in the way of honoring these guys.

They were honored at the TN Theater and with a special DVD and BEFORE THE GAME!
