1979 homecoming against Georgia Tech

For any of the old timers that were at that homecoming game in 1979 and managed to get a picture of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its rider that day, I would love to have a copy.

That was my Dad, David Welsh and the horse was named Premier Delight. I happened to be stationed in Germany at the time for the USAF. Dad passed away this year but a pic of he and the horse that day would be awesome for me to hang in my study.

I was there but only 10 years old, so no camera. Used to love that part of the pregame as a kid. Have you tried the TN Walking Horse Association in Shelbyville?

I was there as a college freshman. I recall it being a beautiful sun drenched day and the Vols rolled 31-0. Alas, I have no pics.
