That was the last time the Vols suffered back to back losing seasons. I don't think there is another school out there that can lay claim to such a record. Which to say is remarkable is an understatement. I recall an article about this in 2006,but couldn't locate it. Do you think the staff knows of this ??

Without looking it up, I believe Ohio St. and Michigan can make that claim.

1911 is also significant because I'm pretty sure that's what I'd have to dial to call the emergency line from my office. Or, maybe it would be 8911. If I dialed just 911, would it not do anything at all? Maybe I'll try that from someone else's desk tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. I feel this a claim to fame of sorts for our football program. Tennessee being the team to make 100 years without back to back losing seasons,really an accomplishment. I feel strongly, that we will make it.

1911 is also an awesome .45 caliber pistol! I like to kill things with mine. And, in turn, eat them.

Yes, but in 1914 the great Zora Clevenger brought UT's first championship and undefeated season.
