Bumping this thread too because Nester has us at the top of his leaderboard from 247 Sports. Also, Rivals has updated his rankings as well.

He's now a 4* from Rivals & receiving more offers just about every 2 weeks-month or so. He's now up to 12 D1 offers when just a few months ago he only had 2-3 offers.

Only because Tennessee comes before West Virginia in alphabetical order, Tony. It really isn't that complicated.

Still, good news to be in the top 2 with a solid player early on.

NB4 you are wrong there buddy. The order came from an interview in the sip secret subscription only room that I have access to but can't share with you. In there he stated that the alphabet wasn't even really that important to him when choosing a school and UT was the leader in the clubhouse. Thanks.

No, he's stated in interviews that UT is at the top of his leaderboard. Nothing to do with the alphabet buddy.

Doug Nester was an Ohio State commit. Doug is a senior from Spring Valley High in Huntington WV. Doug and Riley Locklear (current UT lineman) were teammates. Since Urban Meyer has announced his retirement Doug Nester is looking at other schools. About 10 miles from Spring Valley High is Huntington High. Huntington High is where
Darnell Wright attends. As you know, everyone wants Darnell Wright. Has UT looked at Doug Nester?

well they (Nester and Wright) don't like each other...as it has been reported. Rival schools in WV...oh well...

Why, just why! This kid is the main reason Wright didn’t want to go to Ohio St. If we go after him it’s like telling Wright to go on to Bama.

How sexy would it be to snag him, Wright, and Morris?? The cherry on top would be that Trey's medical condition is all clear. We would have a shot at a decent line next year while 2020 could field an actual SEC OL.

I know the likelihood is slim to none but a boy can dream

He won’t come here. If we have Wright in he bag this kid isn’t an option because apparently they have beef and do not like each other at all.

As good as Nester may be, we need Wright much more. Don't see where this kid has been a target for Pruitt either.

Coaches from Georgia and Penn St were at the school where Nester’s mom works (not the same school Nester attends, or even same state) the morning that Urban “retired” to speak with her.
