We made Iowa look like a cupcake 2 years ago.
And based on recruiting rankings South Carolina is more talented than Iowa and Pittsburgh. In fact the gap between South Caroina and Iowa/Pitt is larger than the gap in talent between us and South Carolina.
Just because South Carolina gets dominated by the big boys in the SEC doesn't mean they suck on the national stage.
I would consider South Carolina vs Iowa or Pitt in a neutral site to be a toss-up.
Following this quite possible scenario, UT, as SEC champs, would have at least a bit of validity demanding to participate in the fab four. Louisville may well lose one of their last two games, OSU should beat UM, but either way one will have two losses, Washington's schedule versus anyone's in the SEC harms better thanit helps their position, and the Sooners gotta' get by WV. Ho boy! If our fellas pulled off another hail Mary in Atlanta, couldn't you just imagine these headlines: Who's stunned the most after Tennessee's miraculous victory over Alabama in the SECCG...the Tide's footballers or the uber-confused NCAA playoff committee? Yes I know it's not likely, but crazier things have happened. I hope everyone's enjoying this cfb season as much as am I.:dance2:Chew on this for a minute;
Auburn beats Bama
UT beats Bama
VT beats Clemson
OSU beats Michigan
THEN the Playoff is;
Louisville
OSU
Washington
Oklahoma
Oh GOD!

Bump...😜that ain't happening, and as dynamic as their QB is, i don't think L'ville has enough of a team to beat Bama. they definitely haven played anyone with a defense like theirs.
so i get why everyone would like to see that match up...but in think Bama would ultimately crush L'ville physically.
