When was the last time there was a decent white defensive back that played big time college football? Serious question.

Harrison Smith?

Vinnie Sunseri comes to mind.

Houston has a pretty good recruiting class going right now.

"Tennessee also offered Katy, Texas, safety Collin Wilder today as well. Wilder was once committed to Texas Tech before decommitting and committing to Houston. In talking to him tonight he said he was very appreciative of the offer, but wasn't sure how hard of a look he would give Tennessee. I think he doesn't love the recruiting process and even mentioned he had already decommitted once and wasn't sure he'd want to go through with it again.

He said he's very firmly committed to Houston but wouldn't rule out a visit to Tennessee. But, the Vols will have to build a relationship there for sure."

It seems there's a fair amount of white safeties. Cornerbacks, not so much. Are there any white starting cornerbacks or RBs in the NFL? I can't think of any.

Jason Sehorn is the only white corner I can think of, I saw a white running back in a preseason game the other day but I can't remember what team he was playing for but he was doing really well, there have been several good white RBs/FBs though, Brian Leonard, Mike Alstott and Rex Burkhead come to mind.

Doubt it'll play out that way by the time the first regular season game rolls around but, I think technically speaking, Toby Gerhart is still a starting RB for the Jags.

Toby Gerhart (Jacksonville)?

IDC much about white guys being good db's... however when this kid goes in for a lick whoever he hit moved backwards. Gotta be a good sign.

remember Zibakowski (sp?) from Notre Dame? White dude boxer, hellafied return man and safety?
