I know we start them young now. Local kid who had an outstanding year. Same high school I attended and caught a couple of games. Broke school records held by Mr. Football finalist Darian Stone who started at TTU this year (this while playing with lesser overall talent around him). Just really cool and collected in the pocket and great touch on the ball and decision maker. Arm strength still isn't there, but with a good year in the weight program and a couple inches (dads a pretty big guy) I think he will be one to keep an eye on.

also just found about a hour after I started this thread that he was just invited to the US Army Underclassmen combine!

Playing in the same region with Anderson County and Campbell County and Oak Ridge. So the competition was there.

I just watched their AC game and Clinton's entire team looked terrible.. Nobody stood out for clinton except for maybe one of their wr's.

The kid was a sophomore and it was the first game of the season and his first start ever. I went and left unimpressed as you probably saw Clinton did bubble screens to the wr's to the long side of the field way to often in the first half. Seem like they were playing it safe and protecting him. I think if you watch the highlights youll see they opened it up a more as the season progressed and he really thrived and took off with it.

Tyler's dad is 6'3, around 230 and very athletic. If Tyler grows into his frame he has the possibilities of being a very good QB.

woo-hoo, that's my Alma mater. Now granted he wasn't even alive when I was there...

Can't figure out why more schools don't' have dragons as mascots like Clinton. So bad azz...
