Nobody is saying the offense wasnt stalling or there weren't questionable decisions, just that Curt wouldve made the difference in a play or two and we would've overcame all of that. It isn't one or the other. You can go ahead and question Butch. Admitting that Curt wouldve made the difference in a couple of games doesn't negate your argument.
That's bullcrap chavis..I've been here long enough to remember you before you became so negative. You used to be fair. You've changed. You were a great poster.
If you don't think constant 3 and outs had anything to do with the defense than you need to go back and watch that game
I agree to a point Wick. Ellis dropping a td didn't help. I'm sure that is the coaches fault too.
Well - actually - now that you mention it. lol. It might have been wiser to call a pass to the #1 TE to increase the odds of catching it. Ellis is not all that sporty at catching passes out in a pattern. He does OK on curls and stops, but that's about it for his pass catching skills. Whereas Wolf rarely drops a pass.
That and other examples led to my comments about the staff appearing to treat games as they did practices the first half of the season and in past seasons. The losses and criticism received may have sharpened their skill set a bit.
"I think Alexis Johnson is a big-bodied defensive lineman who's quick, he's sudden, he's explosive. He can bend. On film he looks like he can play the three-technique. He can play the nose. You can move him around to different spots. He's a guy that can not only be good in the run but also in the pass rush, which is critical for us. I'm excited about that," Jancek said of his two newcomers.
