"TOP PERFORMERS - CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

1. DT KAHLIL MCKENZIE, CONCORD (CALIF.) DE LA SALLE (2015)
When I saw McKenzie earlier this season, he was very impressive. In the championship game, he was one of the best players on the field and drew numerous holding calls. Originally from Green Bay, Wisc., McKenzie has excellent size at 6-foot-3 and 316 pounds and he's super powerful. The 2015 four-star body-slammed a Bosco running back at least twice and he's always battling the offensive linemen to gain leverage and make a play. McKenzie's performance was so good that he's in the conversation as one of the best defensive tackles in the 2015 class out West."

Did a video interview woth Danny Parker:

Benching 435, squatting 615 currently. When asked if there was anyone he was looking forward to meeting, he said "there is a whole list of guys."(Obviously a CBJ tactic for recruiting). Guys on the list were were mostly California guys, but then he randomly mixed in Matt Burrell, Rico McGraw, and Drew Richmond. Likes Arizona's coaching staff and campus. Distance doesn't matter. Loves the Vols staff, really likes the bucket hat recruitment CBJ has been doing. Said he messages Jack Jones, Andrew Butcher, Dillon Bates a lot and Preston and Cecil have been recruiting him at the opening. Preston came up to him during the interview and interrupted it to say "Volnation, Volnation" and they both started cheesing (indirectly giving it away imo). Will choose tonight with a bucket hat

If I were butch I would have that bucket hat, in all the pics, mailed to him for the reveal tonight. Just to put the icing on the cake so to speak

Poor form on Rivals part. Best athletes in the country assembled at one place, and they have other things to do?

Please

Rivals had their 5 star challenge about a month or so ago. Many of the same athletes that are at The Opening were at the Rivals' event.

The Opening is just advertised a lot better. It's broadcasted like crazy on Twitter. Instead of having just 1 service at a competition. The Opening has 3 and more. So Twitter will be blown up. The front page of those online services will be all about The Opening. And then having air time on ESPNU for several days helps too.
