Crisps skill set is reminiscent of former Alabama standout Donta Hightower who had a similar impact on small school football in Tennessee. Though linebacker may be in his future, Crisp loves playing running back.
I love running it, the junior said. I can power run and Im quick to be my size. Im just all around pretty good.
Though the recruiting interest hasnt arrived just yet for Crisp, he has his eye on a few programs, particularly the in-state Vols. I always like Tennessee, he said. I like Auburn too. Theyve got a good program down there. They run the same kind of offense we do.
West Tennessee is home to several elite underclassmen
Rushed for 1,816 yards & 23 TDs this year on 270 carries (6.7 ypc) as Bolivar Central finished with a 3-7 record.
