Yes he did. Went to a baseball tourney rather than come to one of the biggest recruiting weekends UT had last year. Foundation Day iirc.

Kyle is in a wait and see mode. If we put a good product on the field and show improvement this yr he will be a Vol.

LOL... I was being sarcastic... But as far as the numbers go, How many DE's we take this year 4 or 5?

I don't see them kicking Butcher or Jackson to the curb... they just took a commitment from Ford. I also don't see any of them growing into DT's

I guess 4 is probably right... I was thinking we took 3 or 4 last year but it was realistically only 2 (Hendrix and Henderson) because Barnett will most likely move inside to DT.

Kyle is a take regardless. You do not turn away the type of talent he is. Especially the fact he is in state talent as well. Also you want to try and continue to recruit the metro Nashville area as well. Which we are continuing to establish great relationships and repore with that area. Which is crucial to keep it that way.

I'm confident our team is going to show him enough this season. Also with Kahlil, Butcher, and Jack Jones recruiting him on twitter and such we will get him.

Not an insider but a friend of mine is an assistant coach at Hillsboro and he told me today that Kyle right now is an Auburn lean. Said his family claims the Barn and UT are his top two as it sits today.
