You buying the hype to BB? :)

Five of their wins last year literally changed by one play, and 3 of those were just flat flukish.

WSU 31-24
MSU 24-20
OM 30-22
UGA 43-38
Bama 34-28

Sure, championship runs take those kind of plays to happen(Stoerner fumble), but I can assure you that stuff doesn't fly consecutive years in the SEC. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Malzahn's teams are going to tank now, but they will come back down to earth.

edit - interesting you don't think Marshall is a good QB for his system

You forgot about the A&M game as well - 45-41. Manziel got hurt and TA&M had to kick a FG and then went 3 and out the next series when he was out. Not to mention the horrendous missed horse collar on the last drive, which forced A&M to use their last timeout and would of set them up inside the 10 with about 20 secs left. Auburn really was living the charmed life last year. But yeah Malzahn will always have a good O...

Anyways, I predict that Tuttle and Phillips will close out our D-Line recruiting for this year. I think we will have to have an amazing year on the field to possibly land Sweat.

Auburn played some close games last year. Against good teams. At home and away. But they proved to be winners. And Breaker said that Gus would do big things "once" he got a quarterback.

And those players were recruited for his scheme. Which was immediately noticed by football folks, and still missed by most everyone else.

Auburn was the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC last year and they still should of beat FSU. Just goes to show the dominance of this great conference. It will be that much sweeter when UT completes its rise to glory and all others kneel before the 8th wonder of the world(Neyland stadium).

No. Auburn was the second best team in the SEC behind Alabama. FSU was the better team period.
