Correct me if I'm wrong: (I worked in an AD a few years back) An athlete can receive partials from each sport correct? Like baseball has 8 schollies, give out 4 fulls and 8 partials coupling the partials with academics, I.e Hope in this case. Then the athlete is free to "walk-on" to any sport.

The higher grossing sport money wise is the one that you have to take the scholarship from ...so football would always be the first scholarship that would have to be given in almost any D1 program.

The need for help in the receiving corp is growing with the loss of Vincent Perry as well as the uncertainty with Jason Croom. Croom is likely to be out at least a month following his surgery later today as he continues to try and recover from that really bad knee injury last December. The hope is that Josh Smith will be back on Monday. The reality is that it's suddenly a thin group and where would they be without the arrival of Jauan Jennings. (more on him in a minute)
