'15 NM QB Zach Gentry

Did he make it in? Cause for a guy who I thought was suppose to visit this weekend we haven't seen pics or quotes or anything coming out about the visit. Or did I miss something?

It was either sarcasm, or he was being serious.. neither of which are funny, at all. But whatever tickles your proverbial pickle, stovehall.

It was not laughing at you, but people's caricature of you after the barnett ordeal. Nevertheless, its always good to be able to laugh at ones self

He was here until this morning and making his way back home. Tennessee coach Butch Jones and several staff members had dinner with Gentry and his father Sunday night. He was here from Friday around 5 until this morning. We will catch up with him tonight when he's back in New Mexico.

This kid and his dad's playing it pretty close to the vest it seems. Quite the opposite of Gibson. I do think if and when this kid does commit he will stick with it.

Seriously impressed nothing has gotten out about the visit yet in this day and age. I kinda like his style..

I'd expect things to be fairly quiet until after he visits bama and possibly tx. Maybe after that we have a better idea of what he may do.

Just spoke with four-star quarterback Zach Gentry of Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, N.M., following his visit to Tennessee over the weekend, and he said he was blown away by his first look at the Vols. He said he was impressed by the campus and facilities, and he enjoyed getting to spend time with coach Butch Jones, offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian and some of UT's players.
Gentry, who weighed in at 6 feet 7 inches and 230 pounds during the visit, said he's planning to visit Oklahoma State this weekend, and he might visit Alabama, Texas or somewhere else after that. This weekend's trip was his first visit since he attended some camps last summer, but he admitted that Tennessee set the bar pretty high for other teams, and he really likes the Vols right now. He doesn't have a specific timetable for his college choice, but he's still hoping to make his decision by this summer.
We'll have a full story on him shortly.

Might visit Bama, Texas or somewhere else? Might?!

I think the reason he moved his UT visit up was so he could be at the bama spring game. Maybe the tx offer has him rethinking that trip. Maybe he takes time to see both. The tx offer is the one to be worried about now IMO. With okie st already having a 2015 QB committed, I'd like to think the UT situation puts us ahead of them.

I also just realized IF Jennings commits on the 7th, maybe the okie st situation is not so much in our favor then. :ninja:

Hopefully his Ok St. visit isnt that great. Then he will see how much better UT is than other schools and give us a bigger lead... hopefully leading to an earlier commitment

WOWSERS!

I love the kid was basically the center of attention for 3 full days.

Need to get him to just commit after OKC visit.
