'15 NC DT Shy Tuttle (UT commit 9/26/14)

Was reading an article (in CTFP) yesterday about Jordan Williams putting on weight to switch to DT...I thought that was probably what was going on, when we saw some of photos of their late night workouts in Neyland, a while back.

But one thing he said in the article, had me a bit concerned. He said we will be an undersized DL this year. I knew Owen Williams was considered undersized, and I'm surprised that O'Brien is too, still (after a few years in the S&C program here).

Not having Mosley will hurt, but that brings me to this point. Both Tuttle and KMac would have an open door to either starting or being in the 2 deep, right away, next year...especially if they are EE's.

Fix your 5 and 7 key. I think they're switched. Welcome to the board!

Ill have that looked at... A Tuttle and Mckenzie with three years in the program would make a championship caliber line. I feel we finally have a staff of position coaches that can develop talent. IMO

Nat'l Championship run will be the goal in '17...if not '16...IMO

I want to jump on that wagon, but we need to start winning games against SEC competition first. Winning the east then the conference. Then a run in the CFB playoffs.

The good news is that if you win the east and the conference, you are in the hunt for the NC. It can all happen in a year. Ask Auburn (although they were stacked with talent even when they were bad).

Tuttle and Richmond are silents in my opinion. We get a few more and lose one or two, and pick up a few surprises. The main thing will be showing a strong season this year.

You need to lose the naivete and realize that being a good recruiter or salesman and being a saint don't go hand in hand.

I'm not saying Butch is a bad dude but he's using everything he can to try to convince these kids to come to UT. If he was doing less than that then I would say he isn't doing enough.

I, for one, don't see negative recruiting as wrong. Do whatever it takes to differentiate your product.

Countless recruits have been quoted that CBJ only talks up UT. Does not talk about other schools at all.

No one has said that about the asst coaches though :)

All part of the plan :salute:

I remember when winning the SEC East was scoffed at. Now we may have a parade when we win it again.

O'brien and Owen Williams are only considered undersized because they're both pretty short. They're thickly built though. If they were 6'3 with the build they have, them they'd be pretty much ideal size.

If it's not a fun experience with their successful physician son-in-law...what do you bring to the table?

I've got my Italian Great-Grandmother's Spaghetti and Meatball recipe. It'll make you wanna smack yo mama it so gud!
