He isn't going to South Carolina. It will be Tennessee or Clemson.
Also, I don't think South Carolina will land Lewis either. It will be Alabama, Auburn, or Tennessee.
Derrel Scott and Pharaoh Cooper were bff too.
Lotta time left on this one... Lou
Yeah, let's just leave their home state school off their short list. Good thing that is just your opinion. Lewis just said his top 2 were USC and Auburn and he is leaning towards playing closer to home, which gives USC the advantage.
You are 100% correct, it is a very long way until signing day. Scott still stings some, b/c we were leading for his services for a long time. UT definitely had a more favorable depth chart for him and did a very good job of recruiting Scott. Scott and Hurd should compliment each other very well. I'm just confident that Jones and Lewis will be Gamecocks with the information I have.
Lewis hasn't taken his visits yet. Once he does, South Carolina will fade out of the picture. They just don't have the recruiters on staff.
The Mississippi ranks have got a couple of gems this coming season with arguably the best player in the country at East Mississippi in D.J. Jones. The product of South Carolina has his pick of the litter when it comes to offers, with close to 20 major players in the mix as we head to the end of spring. At 6-foot-2 and 310 pounds he a dominant force inside, with all the tools to play on Sundays. He finished with 49 tackles and eight sacks a season ago, and offensive coordinators had better start preparing the double and triple-teams during the spring.
"Tennessee will always be at the top until the end, Jones told InsideTennessee. If I commit or not, I will always have love for that staff. They stayed with me. I just appreciate that entire staff staying with me. Theyre the only school that really stayed with me when everybody found out, Youre not going to qualify.
I mean*Clemson*was they were there at one point and then when they found out about the grades they did what everybody else did *they scattered. They said they were keeping an eye on me, and I dont doubt it. I just feel like Tennessee was always there.

FSU & UT will most likely get officials. Coach Strip is main recruiter, but every coach messages him on twitter each week. Said UT will be in his top 5 when he cuts some schools down.
