IMO the kid would have been a Vol at any point had CBJ been willing to take his commitment. For whatever reason UT passed.

Maybe they want to see if we have gamers already in orange and are slow playing him to see where our deficiencies lie first? What if it turns out that we have a stout young secondary this year (say we lead the SEC east or even close to the top in INTs or pass defense), but struggle at offense in pass protection and/or run blocking?Do we still push for the Martins, Ordways, and Abernathies, or rather concentrate more on our immediate needs and make Harrell's offer committable, if indeed it's not already?
