Butch Jones) came up to me and told me that I had the offer. It was really exciting like scoring-a-touchdown exciting, winning a big game. I knew it was a possibility. I didnt expect it, but I hoped for it.
(Jones) told me to get back up here for another visit (and said) the more I come, the more comfortable Ill be, and that I had the offer, "I was keeping in touch with the running backs coach on Twitter, and he wanted me to get up here and I wanted to come up and see everything, so I came up for the visit and I enjoyed it a lot.
I think I'll remember the coaches, he said. I think its a turning point for this team. I think theyre headed in the right direction all the stats with academics and games they lost last year. They were all close games, and I just think Coach Butch is a really good coach. ... I think it went just as good as any other visit, if not better. I really liked all the facilities. I was surprised. I think their facilities are second to none. Theyre doing a really good job.
Britt said he doesnt have any standouts at this point among the teams pursuing him, but he expects to return to Tennessee for another visit before long perhaps as early as this spring. I think Ill be back soon, he said.
