Wait, is this part serious? Jordan **** talking his teammates was pretty much his thing. Hell, he punched Kerr in the face during practice one time and basically destroyed Rodney McCray forever by calling him a loser over and over and taking all of his money in a shooting competition.

Kind of. She is essentially blaming it on some computer glitch by saying the date was definitely set for it to go live next year. I think the update regarding the tweet is probably because people then called her out for also sending a tweet about it. I think it's much more likely that she simply jumped the gun considering the story AND the tweet, and is now trying to backpeddle/cover her ass.

You're right but I would say there's a difference in prime Michael Jordan saying and doing these types of things and a high school recruit saying them.

Yeah, I'm serious and I know all about MJ.

Getting in arguments in a practice is not the same thing as what this kid is doing. This would be like the Bulls trying to acquire an all star free agent and Jordan doing everything he could do to run the guy off before he signed.

It's not the same. Everyone knows Jordan was super competitive and was a trash talker. This kid is not Jordan and he's scared of Francios. And now he's going to be finding a new place to play his college ball.

I really have no idea, nor do I care, if this kid is scared of anyone but your other post seemed to indicate that neither Bird nor Jordan trash talked their own teammates, which couldn't really be further from the truth.

I guess I could have phrased that post better. I know Jordan was a huge junk talker during games and practice. I remember hearing an interview on Rome with one of his teammates about how if he was having a bad practice he would start trash talking teammates to get himself going.

My point was simply that in this situation and setting, this kid talking trash to a prospective teammate that could make his team better is "fear based." Watch him decommit soon and then watch who he signs with.

SIAP but how many of you knew Chris Weinke was Francois' head coach at IMG Academy? I follow recruiting fairly heavily and was not aware of this until today. Bo Scarbrough played there last year as well. Apparently Scarbrough may reconsider FSU (after JUCO) since he apparently won't get into Bama this year. Seems a little sketch to me, but every big time program has their share of "favorable" HS programs with ex-players as position coaches or head coaches.

"Jones isn't the only quarterback to get in touch with Tennessee as Florida State commitment Deondre Francois has also contacted Tennessee, several people in Florida told us. Tennessee coaches were at IMG Academy earlier this week checking on Tyree St.Louis and may have spoken to Francois after he reached out to them."

Very, very interesting...I swear I don't think CBJ would hesitate for a second taking a third QB this class if the numbers would work out. I think that will be the deciding factor in the end...do we have room?

I can't see Butch taking a QB outside of the two mainstays unless the numbers open up. We have way too many holes to fill.

Rumor in QD thread is he is injured again and the extent of the injury is unknown. If true, particularly if the injury may be serious, then that would explain the Jones and Francois rumors because QD may have to redshirt regardless and UT would be left with Dobbs and Jennings only if Peterman transfers.
