I went to see the movie 1408 and it is pretty scary. John C. is a book writer who writes about haunted hotels. He does not believe in the existance of the supernatural until he stays in 1408. Good movie if you like jumping out of you seat.

The story by King is scary as hell. Read it before going to see the movie. Hollywood always destroys King's books anyway.
