Trust me, I don't. Point taken.

Hey SD50,
Way to take a little friendly criticism and respond in an adult manner...rarely seen in these parts :hi:

Btw, only trying to bust your chops a little bit. You are obviously a VFL and passionate about your school...tidewarrior just kinda weirds me out. :)

Bryan has been to Nebraska, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington. He hopes to to make it to a few camps this summer as well. "Right now, I'm just taking it all slow," said Bryan who plans to take all five official visits. "I talk to everyone who reaches out to me. I listen to every message and I read every piece of information on a school. But if I'm not interested after that then I let a school know. I don't want to waste a school's time because they shouldn't hold a spot for me if I have no interest in them."

"I am interested in Tennessee," Bryan said. "I haven't have much conversation with them. I have talked to a couple of their offensive coaches, but I am trying to learn about them."

Getting bigger shouldn't be a problem. Bryan said most of the men in his family are big. Both grandfathers stand 6-foot-5 or taller and most of his uncles are over 300 pounds.

"We are a big family," Bryan said. "I have always been bigger than guys my age. I have always played football and I always had the 'x' on my helmet because I was so big. So I have always been a lineman and I have liked the physical nature of play there. There's nothing like physically dominating your opponent."

Grandfathers and uncles really big and over 300 pounds? Impossible! Our resident expert on future weight of 16 year old kids based on nothing but a listed weight on the internet said he was too small.

Through it's history of recruiting nationally, the Tennessee football program has never had a letterman from the state of Wyoming. Head coach Butch Jones and his staff are trying to change that as they court 2014 lineman Taven Bryan from Natrona High School in Casper, Wyoming. The 6-foot-5, 255 pound Bryan admits he's pretty surprised at his quickly growing resume of offers that's now up to a dozen. Finding a national recruit from Wyoming is not commonplace given it's the least populated state in the country. But regardless of where he hails from Bryan has what coaches want.

The keys for making the early cut for Bryan is education, location, feel of the coaches and how well the program plays football. One school that has made the early cut with Bryan is Tennessee.

NO WAY IN H*** that I would ever live in WY. Been through there several times, Rock Springs, Rawlins, Casper and its HORRIBLE. Windy EVERY DAY, can come a blizzard in JULY and the women, whew boy. Just sayin. Kid probably is playing his tail off to get out of that state.

The I-80 corridor is definitely the least interesting part of Wyoming. The Snowy Range, Tetons, Bighorns, Wind River Range, and Absarokas, on the other hand, are powerful, majestic destinations. It does take a special breed of person, however, to be happy in Wyoming or Montana.

“It has been exciting hearing from Tennessee,” Bryan told InsideTennessee.com. “They seem to be a really good coaching staff and they are really nice guys. Tennessee is a great football program too with a lot of tradition.”

On Coach Mahoney:

“He like a really funny guy,” Bryan said. “We haven’t talked a whole lot yet, but he seems really like and genuine. We don’t just talk football, which is different. It was exciting to get the offer from him.”

“There are always things to improve on really,” Bryan said. “I am focused on getting bigger and adding weight right now. I am doing a lot of stuff pretty well, but I want to learn the plays and the schemes a lot better.”

Bryan says he will take all of his official visits before making a decision on his destination for the next level. He added that Tennessee has a shot at one of those visits. Until then, he is focused on his senior season.

What happened to "taking all of his officials and...focusing on senior year?"

That article was from like 2 weeks ago!

Probably saw more girls at UF than in the whole state of Wyoming. I also assume he was told that he better get on board quickly or be left out based on Florida's ability to recruit so much locally.
