Word is that London will not be coaching UVA next year. Wonder if this guy, Blanding, or any of their other recruits will have second thoughts?

Thanks for the bump Cobb!...this one is near and dear to my heart...back on it BUTCHES

I actually heard the exact opposite down in Hampton roads area. I heard he is now up with VT for a lot of prospects out of Hampton Roads which they were never in any of the prospects unless VT said no them, he has kept up with the high standards of education at UVA and has proven he is recruiting at a high standard. The biggest problem that has surfaced with them is the horrific QB play they have endured. I think Tenuta has to fall and ultimately even a Tom O'Brien anytime a recent head coach is on your time the skeptics say it is time to hand the team to him.

You may be correct as the buyout is high. I don't think they will win another game this year ending with a 2-10 record. Tough sledding ahead.

I think they have made some strides on the Southside of Hampton Roads, with obvious success two years in a row at one of the better football schools in the Beach District. However, I think the Peninsula is still pro VT, if they don't leave the state entirely. You're right though, the UVA name is popping up around the state more than it used to in many years.

I agree but in all reality a lot of the kids that have gone from the Peninsula to VT would not get in (per se) to UVA. Mike London and crew has done a great job at identifying the catholic or Christian school kids who would go to a Michigan, Notre Dame or a Stanford and pointing them to stay instate. Blanding was supposed to be a heavy FSU lean and if they get a few more instate guys like Kamara and Nnadi and well if favor ever shines on them and they get an OV from Hand then they could easily be back in a year or so.

Virginia has signed several 5 stars but they still sign mostly 2 stars and low 3 stars.

He'll get another year, but he is as cooked as Dooley was going into his last year. Yes QB play hasn't been great and he has recruited fairly well, but his in game coaching is a joke. Last years UVA vs. Va Tech game was a giant coaching cluster**** on his part

He was never going anywhere but UVA.
