Former Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley said it best before his team hosted the Crimson Tide in 2012 (via: AL.com):
"They draft, we recruit," Dooley said. "And they get the first 25 picks of the draft."


Dooley must've steeped pretty low to look up to Saban and Alabama like that. :p


And if ain't god*amn true. Nick Saban and Alabama have dominated the recruiting world since 2007. Even at LSU he was pulling in #1 or #2 classes. Makes me want Saban to stick around even more so, so that Tennessee can finally be the one to dethrone them. :)

I visited the Michigan forum for the mere sake of being amused by the total meltdown I'm sure they'd have after Hand picked Bama. Surprisingly, they were all really level headed, realistic, and rational about it. I then decided to look up the game thread from their recent loss to Nebraska, and the fans acted the same way. I was shocked. Why can't we be that way?

No offense but wasn't hand ranked in the top 3 players in the country? I could be wrong.

On a side note, I cannot wait to see Lambert terrorizing guys while wearing orange and white.
