Speaking to a buddy that works for Scout.com, Got some insight on Leagan. He actually runs around a 5.3 40. Pretty good considering the avg lineman 40 is 5.24 in college (if you watch his film, you will see he has quick feet and can get downfield). His family is originally from columbia, sc, but SC just does not have the numbers to bring him in, though they like him alot, as do half the schools in the country. He was coached by former dallas cowboy lineman Nate Newton for 6 years, so he is probably the most fundamentally sound guy in the '14 class. Even though brought up in Texas, all of his family is in the SC area from what I understand. Family also owns property in the Pigeon Forge area and spends the summers there, if you are looking for a connection other than being close to family. Coach Coiner was recruiting him before he left and being told that new staff is highly interested as well. I was also told this is a kid who "you want on your team". Scout.com guy is saying that his film has been hard to beat for 2014 OG/C's cause he is just a "complete" guy. Tremendous upside just being 16 years old. Plays in a district in Texas known as the "SEC of Texas High School football". Just remember when putting things like "slow" and then laughing at a recruit, THEY DO READ THE BOARDS, regardless of what everyone thinks.

+1

Like what I've seen from him. For some reason Texas C's always seems good to me. Hope this guy gives us a good look!
