What is his speed? If he grows, and is really fast, might be a good get. If he has average speed,4.5-4.6, and remains at 5-7 or 5-8, don't need him.

Kenton finished his regular season with 64 catches for 987 yards and 9TD's. He is 3rd in the state in receiving and only 40 yards behind the leader.

He starts the first round of the play-offs Friday at DeKalb County.

Yea I'm pretty sure he is a Vol fan

Big game for Kenton in first round of the playoffs at DeKalb Co. Double teamed all night he finished with around 130 yards on 4 catches and 1 TD. He also played D where he stood up the receiver, stripped the ball, and ran it in for a 53 yard TD. He also had 1 KR (they only kicked to him once) for about 30 yards.

Maybe. He needs to gain more speed.

Right now he reminds me so much of Arnett, but I know its waaay early.

Can't wait for his game tonight against Chattanooga Brainerd!

Big time players make big time plays.

Kenton didn't have a good nice receiving due to QB play and penalties calling plays back. He should of had 2 TDs but the throws were extremely late causing Kenton to catch the ball out of bounds. Including an amazing grab in the back corner of the endzone. But again Kenton had to play corner and with 40 sec left and the other team about to tie it up. Kenton intercepted and returned a pass 45 yards to seal the win.

Friday stats in Fridays 28-0 win over Marshall Co.

5 catches 45 yards 1 TD (targeted only 6 times)
1 rush 4 yards
1 PR for 42 yards
7 tackles

Playing at Greeneville tonight. At the half, I'm guess he has 70 yards receiving with 1 TD and he has also thrown a 40 yard TD.

Sorry about that jmoore. Kenton ended his amazing sophomore season last night. His final stats from the game (per MaxPreps):

6 catches 117 yards 2 TD
1 TD pass 49 yards
2 KR 86 yards

He should definitely make All-State. Final season stats in OP

**EDIT - just watched the film. Add 3 tackles and a FR to those numbers

Bring him to Atlanta for my combines if he can stack up against Atlanta talent he can play anywhere and get alot of recognition

Its looking bad really bad and I wouldnt change my name I felt like I brought something to the fan base that they havent seen. I mean everyone thought that Dooley lost the players respect and there wasnt one thread about firing him now look at the board. I just wanted to share with everyone on VN the excitement an passion of that win I wasnt trying to put anyone in a negative light Im sorry that some took it that way ie Clay Travis......Go Vols

Yeah I liked seeing it. Was just messing with u.

But I do want to know how bad this lose looks to the recruits. I'm thinking our def recruits will be fine. The off guys are the ones I'm worried about. Especially if we get rid of Chaney.

That's the plan. We will see how things go. Right now he is planning on starting his camp tour next month at D1 Franklin.
