Bump, will be walking on in the fall

Along with Colton Jumper and Cody Underwood, the addition of Boyd makes for a very impressive trio of freshman walk-on LBs. Boyd was the Jackson Sun's West Tennessee Defensive Player of the Year.

His stats last season: 102 tackles (68 solo), 11 TFL, 6 sacks, 5 caused fumbles, 3 recovered fumbles.

(12/13/13) Hunter Boyd led the West defense with 7 tackles, 2 TFL's, and 2 sacks* in the 55-39 win over the East in the Toyota East West All Star Classic in Cookeville, featuring 88 of the top football college prospects in Tenn. (* despite playing less than 40% of game due to player rotation)
