He wasn't a JUCO, he's a graduate transfer. There's some confusion on this but it appears he could possibly come to Tennessee. They don't sign, they do sign some scholarship papers but apparently those are binding....could be something to watch.

If it is a financial aid agreement that they signed (similar to what our football EEs signed last fall), then they only bind the school to provide a scholarship. There is nothing in it that binds the athlete to the school. In fact, you can sign multiple aid agreements with different schools. Josh Malone signed with TN, UGA, and Clemson or FSU.

Thanks for the info guys. Not sure why I typed JUCO. Obviously Tennessee State isn't a junior college.

I'd love to get this kid to Tennessee.

That could be. Rob Lewis is saying his understanding is Rhett is free to go if he so chooses, but doesn't expect Pinkins to try and take a kid from the school he just signed.

Ben_Fred: Some Tennessee fans wondering if MJ Rhett could be back in play now that Al Pinkins is w/ Vols. No. He signed scholarship papers w/ Rebels.
