'14 TN DB Rashaan Gaulden (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Oh, happy day!!!

I would not rule out all of them by end of day today and open up for the Berry brothers tomorrow.

Mouhon isn't supposed to be arriving until tomorrow so it seems like that would rule out him committing today but you never know. Also as cool as it would be I just don't see two recruits committing on the same day, save for the Berry twins.

As well coordinated as everything has been I think they're going to let everyone have their day to be the newest commit. Maybe Gaulden and Barnett since their friends.

The Rumor Mill hosts are hinting on twitter that somebody just committed and an announcement will be coming. He says it'll be a big commit. Could this be Gaulden?

Does Gaulden count as a "big" commit?

Yes he is big time. He couldn't play varsity ball last yr and that's why some sites have him as a high 3 star. That will change this season I promise. He has been awesome at camps and is a Rivals Top 250 4 Star already. Idk how thats not Good enough for ya. He's a baller.

And that would put us at 27 commits for the 2014 class and before the season actually starts. Last year, we only had 5 commits at this time. Unreal

Crazy thing to think about. IF the class is full around mid September and all the commitments have shut things down. I wonder how much money could be saved if the only OV's the staff allowed was to the committed players? Why pay the money to have kids take OVs to Tennessee if they can't commit? Imagine the time saved, and the attention the staff could focus on the current commitments and the future classes VS hugged up to a kid we don't have room for?

Yes, I know it probably won't happen. I would think saving UT 20-30,000.00 would be kind of a big thing while signing a top10 class.

I was thinking the same thing. If they get full, they can switch focus to 2015 prospects. I'm not sure how it would work out.
