Sutton may make All-SEC if he keeps it up. I think Freshmen All-American honors are coming his way. Sutton is a straight baller. Elite of the elite.

I would include Ole Miss's frosh CB in that discussion too. Just a bunch of ridiculously talented young corners and we might just have the best of the lot :)

You talking about Connor? He's a safety I think. Didn't know they had a freshman CB. Trey Matthews and Connor will probably lock up the safety spots on the freshmen roster.

Sutton is good, but I would still take Hargreaves in an instant. Sutton has been beat a lot, and the QB just missed the throws.

Hargreaves is elite, Sutton is very good

What games was Sutton just beaten in? And why would you trade a 6'1 CB with Sutton's upside for VHIII who has somewhat of a limit in the upside department because he's been coached up so well. Sutton would start on every SEC team not named Florida. That's not elite? Man please..... Boy is looking like he'll be one of the best CBs to play for UT if he just keeps progressing. Sutton is producing at a very high level right now. And we're not giving him a bit of help.

SN: you all saying he missed two tackles early have it wrong. He was being blocked and forced the play back in. I was looking extremely hard for a reason he wasn't in the game on the Conley fade.

UT_tix is a troll. Look at his post history. His post are like : Oh we might have a chance to land this guy, but Florida is so good that I wear jorts & this & that." He is not a VFL IMO.

He has missed a few tackles in run support, but no CB is perfect. VH has missed some too. Reavis and Peterson miss some tackles too, doesn't make them "just good."

I saw the one where he just whiffed. The other he was providing contain on a screen. The inside guys have got to attack the blocks more violently. I want my guys to run right through a WR trying to block them. Make them pay for trying to block. :)

But wait til Sutton is 6'1-6'2 195-200 shutting down any WR we stick him on(hell he's already doing that :) ). He'll be punishing RBs too.

Yep, run support is tough for a true freshman corner. I'd say he's been doing a great job considering he hasn't been in an SEC strength training program too long.

Connor plays nickel, or at least he did vs Vandy on opening night, and he looked very good. He will def be on the list somewhere
