From the SC Rivals site:

Goose Creek (S.C.) running back Caleb Kinlaw has an in-state offer from South Carolina, and is also drawing interest from Clemson and a host of out-of-state programs. Former USC running backs coach Jay Graham is recruiting Kinlaw for Tennessee, and if the Vols offer they could be in the driver's seat. Kinlaw has previously indicated to GamecockCentral.com that Tennessee is his favorite with the Gamecocks and Virginia Tech also in the mix.

Caleb Kinlaw picked up early scholarship offers from in-state schools South Carolina and Clemson. Now, two other schools have joined that list.

“Supposedly, I have offers from North Carolina and Tennessee,” said Kinlaw. “Tennessee offered when I went up there during the summer, but I don’t remember when North Carolina offered.”

The four schools previously mentioned are not the only ones that have expressed serious interest in the 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back.

“I’m getting a lot of letters from Alabama, LSU, North Carolina, N.C. State, Florida, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Washington, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UCLA, and Oregon,” he said. “I hoping LSU or Alabama offer next.”

The three-star running back has only visited one school this fall and he came away very impressed.

“I was at Tennessee the weekend before last for the Florida game,” Kinlaw said. “It was really good. All the fans were hospitable. Everything was exciting up there – loud. It was a good environment to be around.” Scout

New article on 247

Has made trips to UT twice recently, and we are his leader. UNC, USCjr, and Clemson are behind. CJG keeps in touch with him, and knew about him at USCjr.

Thinks he will take trips to USCjr, tOSU, LSU, and UNC before the season ends. He wants to take all of his OVs, and he won't commit until next season.

Caleb still has UT and UNC out front. Expecting offers this spring from Ohio St and LSU.

Played this year with nagging injuries, missed two games, and still rushed for over 1000 yds and 15 TDs. Have rushed for over 3000 yds leading into his senior season.

Gets along very well with Jay Graham and followed him to UT after meeting him at USC.

this kid doesnt like to go down... hes a stiff arm machine. JCGator, do you know him?

Yes, I know the Kinlaws very well. Excellent football bloodlines.

Older brother Rodney played RB at Penn State.

His uncle is Courtney Brown, the #1 overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.

Caleb is projected the #1 RB in SC for 2014. Rivals will most likely list him as a high 3 star because he didn't camp much or attend combines last year due to lingering hamstring injury. His stock will definitely rise when he hits the camps and combines this year.

Caleb is an honors student, will most likely enroll early.

Don't let this one get away. Want. Pair him with Hurd and their different sizes/styles/strengths and we will be good to go.

Wow he sounds like a great kid. We'd love to have him at UT. Is he likely to stay in the south for school or do you see him wanting to attend PSU like his brother and uncle?

No chance he will attend PSU.

He is still wide open, I don't think he has a preference.

I know he likes Jay Graham and UNC RB Coach Randy Jordan. I think he will pick where he feels the most comfortable, style of offense, and the RB Coach.

Are academics, facilities, city, pro factor and tradition a big factor with him, or are they just added bonus?

Sounds good. Any chance he makes it to Knoxville for a junior day soon or maybe the O&W game?

This guy plays a few minutes down the road from me. I'll catch a couple of his games this year and let you guys know what I think(not that my opinion matters that much).

I love the kid's vision, but Jay Graham's #1 first task will be to teach him how to hold the football. He's got that thing waving out with only one point of contact.
