Will attend Jr Day at LSU & TxA&M. Will attend 15 camps this summer. Hopefully one will be at UT.

He would really fit nicely into our offense.

Harris completed 152 of 306 passes for 2,573 yards and 26 touchdowns with just seven picks as a junior. He added another 667 yards and 12 touchdowns on 115 carries.

Holds offers from McNeese St, LTU, ArizSt, and interest from TxA&M, Ark, Ole Miss.

Film is nice, really moves the pocket and has good vision and progression. His recruitment is about to take off.

Miramar, you're really slacking on the links bro. But seriously, this is the type of guy who ends up with a ton of offers with a similar senior season.

Changes speed on the ball well. Moves well. Appears to be pretty accurate and has a good release. Currently, is probably a better short to mid-range passer. Time in the weight room working on his lower half would do him well to increase his arm strength.

"Tennessee and Nebraska just offered me, as well as Houston. The recruiting process is starting to get crazier and crazier; I'm excited about it. North Carolina has offered, too."

"I'm calling both Tennessee and Nebraska tomorrow," he said. "The head coaches from both want to talk with me.

I guess the staff is finally catching up to our recruiting gems we find and evaluate with our plethora of knowledge concerning the type of players we need. :D and offering upon our suggestions. :)

2014 quarterback Brandon Harris of Bossier City (La.), traveled to the Lone Star State two weekends back for the Rivals Camp event in Dallas and grabbed a top ten on offense spot.

Harris is consistent when it comes to shinning in camp settings. Not only did he leave Dallas as a top performer, but the following weekend he was one of two quarterback MVP's at the National Underclassman camp in Zachary (La.).

Will attend TxA&M Spring game.

Brandon Harris (6'2/195) of Bossier, La. threw crisp, accurate passes through the entire weekend. A lightning fast release, the ball jumps out of his hand.

Asked to describe how he thinks he would fit into Baylor's offense, Harris simply said, "Perfect."

It's not bragging if you can do it. The three-star - expect that rating to go up -- dual threat quarterback really did as a junior. He accounted for 3,240 total offensive yards - 2,573 passing, and 667 rushing.

There are a lot of Griffin's abilities in him, Harris said Briles told him. Davis is a bit taller at 6-3. Football carries the recruitment but when Harris speaks, his confident tone is very similar to the way Griffin carried himself. Plus, there is the pursuit to never settle.

Here's why: While the 2012 numbers look great, Harris didn't complete 50 percent of his passes. When he finished at the Elite 11 camp April 6 at Valley Ranch in Irving, he described his performance as only C worthy.

"Others said I was an A,'' Harris said. "But I have a big hand, and I need to work on my touch, my release and footwork.''

Briles and Baylor have developed a reputation for being very picky on who they offer. As of now, the coaching staff will likely only take one quarterback. Only two quarterbacks that remain open in their recruitment have been offered, Harris and Randall Cunningham Jr. So that tells you they know who they want and will pursue vigorously.

However, the race is only going to get more intense. Ohio State may be close to offering following a recent discussion. He won't disclose it, but Harris is starting to rate these offers with high, medium and low interest.

Around May 20, he said he likely would announce his top five finalists. Given its determination, there's a decent chance Baylor could be in there.

"I have a dedication to be great,'' Harris said. "Every team I've spoken with hears that in my voice. I never want to stop working to be as good as I can.''

If we miss on the 3-4 higher rated QBs we are trying to land, I think the staff will look to take Nick Tensing out of St. Xavier in Ohio. JMO

They run a quick spread/option offense like CBJ does. He throws it and runs well. A lot of looks to the TE and the backs out the backfield. He would make sense.

I'm liking him for this offense. Sees the field well. Good release. Knows when to tuck it & run, but is pass 1st. Tx A&M is high on him replacing Manziel and Bama offered today. I say we should. I like him better than Kizer based off of film alone.

Seriously? Bama offered today? Or did they offer a spot at their camp to throw for the one QB spot? If they offered, then I wonder if Cornwell might be wearing the orange and white...

I don't know if it's an invite to throw. All I know is that he was offered today. I don't know who gave the offer, and CDN was in Tennessee recruiting today, but still could have made the call. Could be a good sign, or that Bama is seeing what A&M, Baylor, Chaney @Ark, tOSU, UNC, Ole Miss, and MissSt all agree on that he's a really good QB.

His H.S. scrimmages against Alexandria today. Immediately after that, he announces his top 6. Visits top six between now and July 18. Announces his commitment on July 18. Lots more, but mostly quotes. No mention of specific colleges except LSU.

Posts this in Cornwell thread as well

Hopefully good for UT and Cornwell--

This is from Andrew Bone about Brandon Harris:
His arm strength is the biggest thing people have been impressed with thus far. *He has one of the strongest arms in the country.

Harris made a VERY strong impression on Coach Nussmeier tonight.*

Well that is what I'm hoping happens. I'd settle for that in a heartbeat.

i know right, i dont care if 3 teams pass on him, a top 60 overall prospect in the nation at QB is never sloppy seconds. we all know bama is going to get a great qb, thats a given, i just hope they dont take cornwell. with that being said im hoping like hell that harris explodes this year and bama snags him.
